Amarelo Silvestre
Founded in 2009, the Amarelo Silvestre theatre company is based in Canas de Senhorim, Nelas Municipality. Contemporary theatre created in a semi-urban context, focused on the world and on life. Pride of place is given to Portuguese-language repertoire and to the choreographic presence of the actor’s body on the stage. The word and the body: these are the two cornerstones of Amarelo Silvestre’s artistic purpose.
Artistic direction: Fernando Giestas and Rafaela Santos. Administrative management: Paula Trepado. Executive production: Benedicte Garrido.
As previously in 2018-2019, in 2020-2021 the activities of Amarelo Silvestre are co-financed by Direção-Geral das Artes.
